Child Safety
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — and any content that sexualises or endangers a minor — is not tolerated on cubeupload.com under any circumstances. Protecting children, and keeping this kind of material off the wider internet, is the single highest priority of our trust & safety work.
How we detect it
Every image uploaded to cubeupload is checked against known-CSAM databases using two independent, industry-standard tools:
- Microsoft PhotoDNA, which matches images against hash sets maintained by NCMEC and other child-protection organisations worldwide.
- Project Arachnid, operated by the Canadian Centre for Child Protection.
We also run automated classification that flags images likely to contain adult or violent content for staff review.
Checks run automatically on upload. We don’t publish detection thresholds or other operational detail, because doing so would help offenders evade detection.
What happens when there’s a match
When a check identifies an image as CSAM, our systems act immediately and without waiting for a person:
- The image is removed from public view.
- The account that uploaded it is banned.
- The exact file is preserved in secure, access-controlled storage for a potential law-enforcement referral.
A specialist then reviews the case. Confirmed matches are reported; the rare false positive is corrected and any restriction lifted.
Reporting to NCMEC
Confirmed CSAM is reported to the NCMEC CyberTipline, including the material itself and a full record of the action we took. Where a report concerns a user outside the United States, NCMEC forwards it to the relevant national authority.
Preserving evidence
Files connected to a confirmed report are held in isolated storage with tamper-evident controls, kept for as long as a law-enforcement investigation may need them, and released only through the process on our Law Enforcement Guidelines page.

If you find this material on cubeupload, report it straight away to
abuse@cubeupload.com. You can also report directly to the
NCMEC CyberTipline or, in the UK, to the
Internet Watch Foundation. You do not need a
cubeupload account to report, and we never disclose a reporter’s identity to the
person they reported.
